Delete your tendwell account
You can delete your account and the data in it at any time. Deleting is permanent, so if you'd like a copy of your data, ask us for one first.
In the app
- Open tendwell and go to your profile.
- Open Settings, then Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
This is the same on iPhone and Android.
By email
If you can't get into the app, email it.dev@nousattva.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my tendwell account". If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, tell us your tendwell username instead. We may ask you to confirm it's you before we delete anything.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a paid plan bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions first, so you aren't charged again.
What is deleted
- Your profile, username and sign-in
- Health data synced from Apple Health or Health Connect, and everything you entered yourself, including medicines, visits, symptoms and cycle data
- Your posts, photos, comments and cheers
- Your follows, family links and challenge entries
- Notification settings and device tokens
When it's deleted
Your account is removed straight away and can't be seen by anyone. The data is permanently erased from our systems within 30 days, and from encrypted backups within a further 35 days.
What we may keep
A record that the account was deleted, purchase records the law requires us to keep for tax, and reports about content that broke our rules, which we keep for up to a year to deal with abuse. None of this includes your health data.
Deleting tendwell does not delete anything in Apple Health or Health Connect, which belongs to your phone.
